This case is sturdy enough that it should stand up to being dropped, maybe also to being hit by a suitcase or being sat upon by an adult. It also fits the Streamliner Jr. very snugly, and with its small body and semi-hollowbody construction, there aren't many cases that do. (I tried about a dozen one day at a music store.) The materials are a bit cheap -- the edges of the lid are a little flimsy, and it usually takes me a couple tries to close the latches, especially the one that can accommodate a lock -- but for $55 I can't complain. A reasonably sturdy case in a hard-to-find size.

These cases fit many brands of guitars, I have used them for Gretsch, D'Angelico and Guild guitars and they are perfect.

This is a Gretsch branded case specifically for the G2655/G2655T. Fit is excellent. Overall quality is about the same as a Musician’s Gear case, plenty good enough for home or light gigging although obviously it’s not airline-safe. I’ve read reviews decrying the quality and fit but my latches and hinges work great and line up just fine. (Mine came from Proaudiostar, so maybe your mileage may vary from other sellers.) Overall I’m extremely happy with it as it removes the chance that my prized Streamliner gets chipped or knocked over and broken. With the modest padding and perfect fit, I think it easily will withstand normal accidental abuse. Highly recommended, much better than a slightly cheaper gig bag or ill-fitting generic case.
