Received the TDS3 ppm Test Meter a couple of days ago. I have used it several times & am very happy with it. I had been using a water filtration pitcher to purify the TDS (total dissolved solids) out of the water that I was pouring into my humidifier. I kept getting a fine white film all over everything in our house. With the new test meter, I determined that the pitcher/filter was not removing any of the TDS. I am now using a countertop DISTILLER + humidifier, & everything seems to be O.K.
