Great crossbow
Wanted to find an affordable way to get into crossbow hunting. Considered multiple option at similar price range that shoots 400+ fps and I feel after doing some research and trying the saga 420 for myself. I'm completely sold. Sighted it in. Bought she barnett he's hunter bolts and some muzzy trocar broad heads, sighted it in and a week later had meat in the freezer. Perfect shot @ 40 yards

Good but not great.
The product overall is good but there are some things about it that aren’t great. The stock is too loose and could result in unwanted noise in the field. Also the draw length to cock the bow seems extremely long and it’s difficult for shorter arms. Lastly, it seems to be louder when shooting compared to other crossbows in the same speed and price range.

Accuracy and reliability at a great price. More traditional limb design, but that's not a bad thing.
Very Accurate, and I received a better scope than advertised, this one is 1.5x-5x and allows you to adjust for your speed. Optic is lighted and has good clarity. It's very accurate. Get a target that has multiple aim points, because you WILL split bolts if you aim at the same spot. A little loud, doesn't include limb dampeners or string silencers. It seems well-made and durable. I haven't seen a lot of reports of these breaking, like I have for a lot of very compact/narrow crossbows in the 350-600 dollar range. This bow is a couple inches wider than the very compact models, but makes up for it in reliability. nice hunting tool.
shoots straight and fast. 390 fps with supplied 375 gr bolts 4" high at 20 yards 0" at 30 and 40 yards..shoots 380 fps with 400 gr 3" vane bolts.5" high at 20 yards.0" at 50 .used red dot scope.no practice shots. Just shot to check maximum effective range w/o compensating.noise level is not bad.
