This book is A must have. An extraordinary value for the money. I’d only suggest buying The Better Geiger Counter as the homemade version in this book (while very practical and affordable- would be difficult for the average person of today to make and use). I am pretty handy, but these instructions are not easy to follow and the photos are not easy to see.

    Nothing like a hard copy

    The book is now free on the internet however the real prepper will have a hard copy. In a SHTF scenario we most likely wouldn’t have access to the internet or electronics. The hard copy is really crisp. Fresh as can be. The content might be old but it’s still as true and useful as can be, especially in these times with ‘Nuclear War’ being talked about like it’s a game!

    Buy it. It could save your life.

    This book is “the Bible” of Nuclear Survival. It’s inexpensive and extremely important. My only suggestion is to buy The Better Geiger counter or similar. This book gives instructions on how to make an effective Geiger counter but I don’t thank most people today could understand or follow the instructions. Even though they are detailed and extensive.

    Always wanted this book, good for my Cold War Collection!

    Any Cold War enthusiast cannot have a complete collection without this book! I am so glad to have finally gotten around to purchase this, and cannot wait to read through it. These skills have been forgotten as the times change, and with global tensions at an all time high you never know how handy this piece of history may be.
