Huge upgrade for vintage Sunn power amplifier!
I installed this as a replacement for a cooling fan in a 40+ year-old Sunn power amplifier that I've used for years as a monitor amp. This predates the existence of computer case process cooling,fans completely, so what came in this originally was an open frame motor and 5-blade fan like a condenser fan motor on a chest freezer, The reduction in noise level is simply astonishing, which now makes this unit suitable for use in a quiet theater. Installation was simple and straight forward. I also did away with the amp's power cord and installed the socket to accept a removable power cord. This product is first class.
It is very well made. I am impressed and would highly recommend it. I own several well-made muffin fans which work great. This new one is a bit larger than my other two and it has fan guards which my others don't have. They are all very efficient and use vey little power. Note: The two fan guards are not the same. There is a front one and a back one. The directions do not mention this fact.

Large air flow in a tiny package!
It uses less power and pushes more air than a big room fan! I have 3 of them in my office and that is enought to keep efficient air flow for comfortable work, while it is over 100 outside! Also helps to keep my electric bill much more affordable!

Amp cooling fan
I got this fan to put behind my tube amp when its close to a wall (6-8") its compact and moves enough air but does increase the noise floor of the amp when on the same outlet/power strip. Its a good tool when you in a small space
