Can't speak much to the thigh pad as the way that I have my holster mounted to the hanger (3 hole hanger, not the 6 hole) doesn't leave many options to mount it. No issues but no real experience to share - may have passed on this now that I've seen how well the 3 hole hanger works without it but that may be different for the 6 hole with the extra length that digs into the hip. Seller's products are great & was shipped quickly.
