Excellent as are most Kimber items!
Flush fit perfection! I prefer Wilson combat mags for all my 1911 needs, but the gap between the butt plate of the mag and the bottom of the pistol grip mag well is unpleading to the eye as well as creating a snag point when concealed for carry. No feed issues ever with kimber. Quality control perfection in the welds & finish. Highly recommend!👍

Not a Kimber 173, its a 173A that is inferior.
First of all this is not a KIM1000173. It is a 173A. The photo is a 173. The follower, tube and base plate are not the same. 173A uses a Shooting Star type follower which I do not like. The 173 uses a Checkmate type which always functions. The 173A tube is not highly polished as is the base plate. When I insert a empty mag I can feal the follower dragging. When I attempt to eject the 173A it catches and only comes down about 1/8 inch. I can feal the follower catching. I have to fight with it to remove. When inserted fully loaded it will eject most of the time when empty. I have early Kimber magazines that work flawlessly (not Shooting Star type). I always have Checkmate type follower/spring kits on hand. I replaced the Kimber follower and spring with a Checkmate kit. Perfect ... First of all this is not a KIM1000173. It is a 173A. Non of my other mags in my collection malfunction with my 1998 Kimber. I will not purchase them again and I can not recommend them.

These are not the correct magazines for the 1911. They are clearly shorter and therefore the round won't push into the chamber. I also had to really "whack" them to get them into the gun. The piece of metal under the round appears to stick out a little further than my original. Probably for the Kindle "Midsize". I traded them in at the local gun store for 1 8 round. Maybe they just sent me the wrong ones or your title for this add is incorrect I don't know. These are not the correct magazines for the 1911.
