Dryer door switch
Dryer now shuts off as it is supposed to when i open the door. Installed in minutes. Highly recommend repsiring your older/ non computerized washers and dryers. Yearly energy savings mean nothing when you replace electronic parts that cost hundreds every few years. I prefer replacing five dollar parts every few years on a used dryer i bought for fifty dollars ten years ago.

Save a small fortune and do it yourself
Got the new replacement door switch for less than $8 and not difficult to replace with in 15 minutes. To call out an appliance repairman would probably run over $100 for sure. Look at the 'do it yourself' videos first. Follow instructions and unplug the dryer before starting. This door switch used on many dryers.

This was a cheap fix to a problem that I'm sure would have cost $$$$$$ if I called a repairman. I didn't rate the quality because I'm not sure. It appears to be all made of plastic just like the original so I'm guessing I should have ordered 2
