Wow! I've had a couple Les Paul Special II's and they pale by comparison to this Donner. Set up was spot on. The pickups are better that the Epi as is the other hardware. This isn't some $2000 guitar but it plays beautifully, sounds fantastic and needed very little out of the box. Some reviews single out tuners as an issue but on mine they work great, hold tune and have virtually no lash (slop). Best inexpensive guitar I've ever bought and I've had many.

VERY NICE, I TOTALLY RECOMEND IT.
I got this guitar with high hopes because of the looks of it, all though I did check reviews everywhere. It is very nice, it came perfectly adjusted and intonated, once i tuned it, because it came with the strings loosened. I suppose for packaging purposes. it plays nicely. I do recommend it for any purpose. I think that it deserves a 10/10. I got to say that some of the reviews I checked on YouTube, where misleading, and most likely done by people interested in becoming celebrities more than explaining the guitar it self. Ive played the guitar for more than 40 years and i do have a good collection of beauties. And this one is rightfully on the neighborhood with the other expensive ones. I installed a MIDI pick up so it can be used as a virtual instrument also, that's how i know ...
