It picks up sound really well. I listen to the TV at a lower volume now and my wife likes that. You cannot move around much. Its large and heavy and will pull the plug out of your ear. But for my use it works well and the batteries are cheap off Ebay.

I have bought the Walker HD Elites for about $140. They do not last. One was fine when I put it away but did not work at all this season. So less than $20 is better than several at $140. Probably due to being made in China now. Anyway this one amplified but has a ring to it which I will see if I can live with it. Will see how long it lasts. It would be much better if it would stay put, but, it keeps falling from behind my ear, therefore i cannot use it. I think it would be useful to find some type of adjustment in order to wear it.
