    Excellent - really helps for bloating & cramps

    Helped my bloating and cramps a LOT. Will continue to tweek the amount; doctor told me to take 1 before lunch and 1 before dinner. I found that I got some heartburn with that much, so only taking 1 a day now. Start slow. I definitely recommend - have been on Nexium for 7 years and this is helping me more. Still take 1 nexium a day and now TDGard. Love that it's organic! Buying on eBay is less expensive than either costco or amazon. EBay is where I always look first for the best buys.

    Use FDgard with caution!

    The product contains menthol. One mechanism of action of FDgard through its menthol component is that menthol binds to the kappa-opioid receptors in the brain. These receptors have to do with consciousness---hence, muscle relaxation. When I took the recommended dose----2 in AM, 2 in PM---I suffered scary consquences when I woke during the night. I felt off balance, my throat felt odd, I had wet the bed (!), and I felt like I had been drugged. When I researched the menthol component (WebMD, etc,) I discovered why the menthol had this effect. I reduced the dose to 1 per night; over a few weeks my GERD worsened (likely due to the muscle-relaxation of the FDgard's menthol). Stopped the FDgard; GERD symptoms 100% relieved.     I have a lot of intestinal problems like diverticulitis and i don't eat much because i get full right away but besides that i was getting a lot's of cramps in my stomach and my gastroenterologist gave me some samples of the FD guard and i take before every meal the cramps went away and i can eat better ..besides i don't like taking medication this is a natural remedies and taking probiotics every day Culture that doesn't mean and completely heal but i feel better it depends what you eat too.

    Good is over used. This product delivers OTC relief for stomach discomfort.

    FD Guard at about half price!

    FD Guard is not a panacea,butit sort of works most of the time. I find taking itabout 45minutes prior to eating works the best. The package came well prepared for mailing, and was inexcellentshape. The expiration date was a year out. FDG is expensive, but this price was tolerable.
